General Music, K-12

General music serves to inspire student voices and help students develop a lifelong passion for music.

All students take music courses from kindergarten through 8th grade. Students learn to sing, move, read and create music, perform, and appreciate historically significant music, as well as contemporary music, from around the globe. 

High school students can select from a wide selection of art courses that can be found in the BASD High School Program of Studies
